  • 1 Banana
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • ½ Lemon juice, freshly squeezed (from ½ lemon)
  • 1 small Apple, peeled and cored
  • 1 handful Baby spinach (approximately ¾ cup)
  • 12 Spearmint leaves (optional)

Liquids and Ice

  • 100 ml Apple juice (½ cup or 1 dl)
  • 5 Ice cubes (plus extra for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Peel and grate the fresh ginger. Peel the apple and remove the seeds to ensure a smooth texture.
  2. Add Ingredients to Blender: Place the banana, grated ginger, freshly squeezed lemon juice, peeled apple, baby spinach, optional spearmint leaves, apple juice, and 5 ice cubes into the blender.
  3. Blend: Blend all the ingredients until the mixture is smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add more apple juice to reach the desired consistency.
  4. Serve: Pour the smoothie into glasses, add some extra ice cubes if desired, and enjoy immediately for the best freshness and flavor.
