  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangular shape approximately 12×9 inches.
  2. Add the Fillings: Spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then layer the pepperoni slices evenly on top. Sprinkle Italian seasoning across all the fillings for extra flavor.
  3. Roll and Slice: Starting from one of the longer edges, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log shape. Use a sharp knife to cut the rolled log into 1-inch wide slices to form the individual breadsticks.
  4. Arrange and Season: Place the slices cut-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a lightly greased baking dish, leaving space between each piece. Brush the tops lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the breadsticks are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
